Overview

Demokraft AI Studio lets you add and delete segments directly within a project after you open a video in the Studio editor. These operations are supported for projects created with extension-based recording, uploaded video, or uploaded presentation-based video.

Add a segment

After opening the project in Studio editor, position the marker where you want the new segment to appear: at the beginning, at the end, or after an existing segment.

Position the marker

Place the marker at the desired position. The new segment will be inserted after the segment currently selected. If the player marker is at the start or end, the new segment will be added at the start or end respectively.

Click the plus icon

Click the plus icon. You can create the new segment from a video or image.

Select a file

Select an image or MP4 file. Demokraft AI Studio converts an image into a five-second MP4 video and adds it as a standard segment; an MP4 file is added in its entirety as one segment.
Processing begins after you add the segment. Demokraft AI Studio creates the video and inserts the new segment. If the source video includes a script, the script appears with the new segment. Silent videos and images are added without a script. An image-based segment is added as a video segment without a script. After insertion, you can apply the same segment operations available for the rest of the video.

Delete a segment

Delete a segment to refine your project and adjust its overall duration.

Select Delete

Right-click the segment layer and select Delete. A confirmation prompt appears.

Confirm deletion

Confirm the deletion. Processing begins after confirmation.

Check the project

Check the project after processing is complete. The overall duration updates automatically to reflect the revised project; use segment addition and deletion to efficiently refine and extend your video projects.
