Accessing the Effects Menu
The Effects menu is located on the left-hand side of the editor. This menu provides access to a variety of effects that can be applied to your video content to enhance its visual appeal. Click the Effects option to display the full range of available effects. Among these options, key effects such as Text are accessible for application.
Using the Text Effect
The Text effect enables you to add text overlays to your video. Once added, the text element can be moved and positioned anywhere on the screen according to your layout requirements. Note: There is another effect TextBox with advanced capabilites described in separate section of its own.
Positioning Text Precisely
Use the positioning controls provided to fine-tune the exact placement of the text on the video frame. These controls allow precise placement to match your creative needs.
Customizing Text Content and Style
You can edit the displayed text content, such as changing it to “Welcome to DemoKraft.” Additionally, customize the font style to align with the video’s design aesthetics.
Adjusting Font Size, Color, and Animation
Modify the font size and color to enhance readability and visual impact. Select an animation style that complements the video’s theme to make the text more engaging.
Setting Text Animation Parameters
For animations like the “typewriter” effect, configure parameters including animation duration, start time, and end time. These settings ensure synchronization with the video flow for seamless integration.
Applying and Previewing Text Effects
After configuring text properties and animations, click Apply to save the config. Preview the video to verify that the text effect appears as intended and fits well within the content. To remove the text effect, select the layer element of the text effect, click delete in the text effect config panel or right click on its layer element and select delete.
Continuing with Additional Effects
Return to the Effects menu to explore and apply other effects, broadening the visual enhancements available for your video projects.
Uploading Images for Video
User Image/Video effect to add Images or Videos to your config. Access the Image/Video effect option and upload your own images from your computer. This feature allows you to incorporate personalized graphics into your video content. Upload the image/Video you want to add, or if you want add an existing one from the list, select it and add it.
Adding and Resizing Images
After uploading, add the image to your video. The image appears on the screen where you can resize it easily to fit the desired space within your video frame.
Positioning Images within the Video
Position your image on the left or right side of the screen. This flexibility enables you to design layouts that support the narrative and visual flow of your video.
Managing Image Timing and Aspect Ratio
Control the start and end times for the image display on the timeline, specifying when it appears and disappears. Optionally lock the aspect ratio to maintain image proportions during resizing. Position adjustments can be made using the cursor or dedicated position controls.
Applying Animation Effects to Images
Select from animation effects such as Fade to animate the image’s entrance or exit. Adjust the animation duration to achieve a smooth and visually appealing transition.
Configuring Easing Options for Animations
Choose easing options including ease-in, ease-out, ease-in-out, and linear. Easing controls the acceleration and deceleration of the animation, enhancing its natural appearance.
Finalizing Image Effects
Apply the configured animation and image settings to incorporate the effect into the video timeline. This updates the video with your specified image transitions.
Previewing Image Animation Effects
Play the video to observe how the image effect appears on screen, verifying that timing, positioning, and animation meet your visual standards. Verify that the applied effects are visible and functioning correctly on the video. This confirmation ensures that each visual element contributes effectively to your project.
Removing Current Image Effects
Select the layer element of Image/video effect in layer section of the editor. Either click delete button in Image/Video effect config panel or right click on its layer element and select “Delete” to delete the effect. Note: You can follow the same steps as above for adding video instead of image.
Applying Rectangle Shapes
The Rectangle feature allows you to add rectangle shape to your video, which can be resized according to your design needs to highlight or frame other video elements.
Customizing Rectangle Appearance and Timing
Adjust the rectangle’s size, color, and border thickness. Choose whether the shape is filled or outlined only. Set the timing for when the rectangle appears and disappears, and define its position on the screen.
Applying and Previewing Rectangle Effect
Click Apply to add the rectangle to the video timeline. Preview the video from the point of insertion to confirm the rectangle appears as intended during the designated timeframe.
Duration and Impact of Rectangle Effect
The rectangle remains visible throughout its set duration, enhancing specific sections of the video visually, such as during introductions or emphasis points.
Removing Rectangle Effect
Select the layer element of Rectangle effect in layer section of the editor. Either click delete button in Rectangle effect config panel or right click on its layer element and select “Delete” to delete the effect.Adding and Customizing Arrow/Line Effect
Use the Arrow/Line feature to insert arrow or line into your video. Customize the arrow/line’s color, thickness, line style, and arrowhead type to create a consistent and professional appearance.
Controlling Arrow/Line Animation and Position
Adjust the arrow/line’s animation timing and effects. Position the arrow/line by dragging it on the screen until it fits your video layout and enhances the intended message.
Applying Arrow/Line Effect to Video
After configuration, apply the arrow effect to save the config, enabling it to appear at the specified times and locations.
Previewing Arrow/Line Effect
Preview the video to observe how the arrow/line behaves during video playback or other key moments, confirming it effectively directs viewer attention or illustrates points.
